Agreement
By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Overview

These Terms apply to your access to and use of Fineline Knit content, including knitting courses, patterns, worksheets, community features, and any related services (“Services”). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase courses. If you are under that age, a parent/guardian must purchase and supervise use.

2. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Services, legal requirements, or business practices. Updates are effective when posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

If changes materially affect your rights, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice (for example, via a site banner or email where applicable). Continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

3. Accounts & Security

Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly so we can help secure it.

4. Purchases, Billing, Taxes

Prices, taxes, and fees (if any) are shown at checkout. You authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your selected payment method for your purchase.

You are responsible for any applicable taxes and bank fees (such as currency conversion or international transaction fees) that your payment provider may charge.

We may offer promotions for limited periods. Promotional terms apply only as stated and may be modified or ended at any time.

5. Digital Content & License

Unless stated otherwise, all course videos, text, patterns, images, and downloads are licensed, not sold. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use purchased content for your personal, non-commercial learning.

You may not copy, redistribute, publicly display, upload, sell, sublicense, or share access credentials or downloads with others, including by posting them to forums, file-sharing services, or social platforms.

If you would like a commercial license or team access, contact us so we can discuss a separate agreement.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services. This includes, without limitation:

  • attempting to bypass security, scrape content, or access private areas without authorization;
  • reverse engineering, decompiling, or interfering with the operation of the platform;
  • uploading malicious code or content designed to disrupt service;
  • harassing, threatening, or impersonating others in any community feature.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you are violating these Terms or applicable law.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

Because our offerings typically include immediate access to digital content, refunds may be limited. Where refunds are offered, they are subject to the specific purchase terms shown at checkout.

If you believe you were charged in error or you cannot access your purchase, contact support with your transaction details. We will review requests in good faith.

Chargebacks or payment disputes may result in immediate suspension of access while the dispute is investigated.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Services, including trademarks, branding, course materials, and site design, belong to Fineline Knit or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us the right to use them without obligation or compensation, unless prohibited by law.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Knitting results vary based on materials, skill level, tension, and technique. Educational content is provided for general learning purposes and does not constitute professional advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fineline Knit and its affiliates, instructors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific purchase giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the integrity and security of the Services.

Upon termination, your license to access content ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute terms) will survive.

12. Privacy & Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, preferences, and analytics (where enabled). You can manage cookie preferences using the cookie banner controls on this page.

We aim to minimize collected data and use it responsibly. If you contact support, we will use your information to respond and maintain records as required.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Fineline Knit operates, without regard to conflict of laws principles. If a court finds a provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Any disputes should be brought in a competent court with jurisdiction over the matter, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

14. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, contact support and include as much detail as possible (purchase email, course name, and the section you’re asking about).
